  • Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Supervises shift personnel to oversee activities as fire prevention, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring of personnel involved with classified information, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.
    • Produce reports on all investigations.
    • Produces daily and weekly schedules.
    • Works with Manager of Guest Safety, Risk and Investigations to assist in the formulation of policies, determine need for programs, and coordinate programs.
    • Manages activities of workers involved in safety programs.
    • Works with the Casino Operations Manager to assist in the formulation of policies, procedures, coordinate events, promotions, and review of departmental budgeting and personnel needs.
    • Handles customer related issues in a proficient and professional manner.
    • Enforces Responsible Gaming and Self Exclusion programs.
    • Must possess competent computer skills and or can learn systems and applications. (examples Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Payroll, iTrack, Micros, ACSC, Key Pro III, Floor Spy)
    • Provides a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all internal and external customers.
    • Must be able to deal with a wide variety of people and maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and poise.

    Qualifications

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Directly supervises Cast Members in the Guest Safety Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing and training Cast Members; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.  High School diploma or equivalent.  Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; and/or three years related slot operations or security/ law enforcement experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous supervisory experience preferred.  Basic computer knowledge required, advanced computer knowledge preferred.

     

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    Must qualify for, and secure a Maryland State Lottery Authority Gaming license.

    Must have clean/valid driver's license.
