  • Responsibilities

    SUMMARY:

    Supervises all Count Team Members in their assigned duties.

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assures that customer service standards are exceeded at all times and that the count team is committed to excellence in the performance of their assigned duties.
    • Interacts with guests and employees on their assigned shift to insure that superior customer service is provided at all times and that the team is always pleasant while being efficient and effective.
    • Continually monitors the activities of all count team members.
    • Responsible for the timely implementation of all procedural changes.
    • Assists count team members in the performance of their daily assignments.
    • Communicates with the employees on a daily basis to ensure that information is disseminated in a timely manner.
    • Recommends remedial training as necessary for count team members in both customer service and technical areas.
    • Maintains compliance with regulations and departmental policies/procedures.
    • Assures that the count team is appropriately staffed.

    Qualifications

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Directly supervises 1 to 3 employees on the Count Team.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

     

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

    A minimum of 21 years of age.  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

    Must qualify for licensing with the Maryland Gaming Board.
