  • Responsibilities

    • Supervises Guest Safety Officers to oversee activities as fire prevention, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring of personnel involved with classified information, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.
    • Produce reports on all investigations.
    • Produces daily and weekly schedules.
    • Works with Manager of Guest Safety, Risk and Investigations to assist in the formulation of policies, determine need for programs, and coordinate programs.
    • Works with the Risk Management Specialist regarding risk assessment, cast members and guest claims.
    • Manages activities of workers involved in safety programs.
    • Works with the Casino Operations Manager to assist in the formulation of policies, procedures, coordinate events, promotions, and review of departmental budgeting and personnel needs.
    • Handles customer related issues in a proficient and professional manner.
    • Enforces Responsible Gaming and Self Exclusion programs.
    • Must possess competent computer skills and or can learn systems and applications. (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Kronos, Itrack, Micros, ACSC, Key Pro III, Floor Spy)
    • Provides a safe, secure and comfortable environment for all internal and external customers.
    • Must be able to deal with a wide variety of people and maintain a high level of professionalism, confidentiality and poise.


    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.  High School diploma or equivalent.  Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred; and/or three years related slot operations or security/ law enforcement experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous supervisory experience preferred.  Basic computer knowledge required, advanced computer knowledge preferred.  

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret routine business documents.  Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Must have professional/business writing skills and can compose and complete Guest Safety reports, medical reports, and business analysis. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
