  • Analyze effectiveness of all direct mail marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Analyze and provide reporting on the profitability of Marketing programs and events.
  • Generate customer database extracts for marketing campaigns.
  • Manipulate and manage mail house database utilizing Query Tools and Excel.
  • Manage data – extracts and sets up data for mail house.
  • Pulls mailing lists from Player’s Club database.
  • Database hygiene.
  • Develop a detailed monthly database report to give management a precise understanding of their database of customers.
  • Gather, analyze and compare marketing collateral and programs from competitors.
  • Work with the VP of Marketing to prepare reports, charts, graphs, and presentations for action plans to management.
  • Assist Manager in development and implementation of Marketing Research and Analysis objectives to help the organization meet its strategic goals.
  • Investigate current research and statistical techniques, and evaluate the latest research developments to develop new Marketing Research methods.
  • Explore all available information sources including in-house Corporate and Property sources, Industry publications, Websites, published articles and reports, Vendors and other available sources as may be determined.
  • Perform data analyses, queries, data drilldown, interpret results, draw conclusions and recommendations, and prepare reports and presentations based on primary and secondary research, databases, and other Marketing information sources.
  • Develop and assist in conducting research and analyses on customer purchasing patterns, preferences, guest satisfaction, Marketing effectiveness and Marketing program evaluation.
  • Research market conditions and conduct feasibility studies to determine market demand for existing and new products or services.
  • Gather, analyze, and compare competitor data, programs, practices and effectiveness.
  • Maintain market intelligence database and use available technologies to examine, analyze, and compile statistical data.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hollywood Casino Perryville from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.  Cast Members with irregular attendance will be subject to Hollywood Casino Perryville disciplinary action procedures up to and including termination of employment.


Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, Cast Members may be required to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.

Educational qualifications for this position include possessing one or more of the following:

  • Four-year college or university program certificate
  • One to three years’ related experience and/or training experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.


Degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Statistics, Computer Science or other quantitative field preferred.  At least 1-3 years’ previous experience in a similar position.  Knowledge of Casinos and the Gaming industry is desirable, but not required.


This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service and promoting a positive attitude to create a fun and entertaining experience for our guests.



Language skills requirements for this position in the ability to:

  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Write professional reports and correspondence
  • Speak effectively before groups of Managers and Executives is desirable
  • Understand and speak the English language.


Mathematical Skills:                                                    

Training and experience in data tabulation and analysis, statistics and statistical programs is essential.



Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.



Must qualify for licensing with the Maryland Gaming Commission.  Must a clean/valid driver’s license.
