The Surveillance Monitor is responsible for observing all activities of guests and employees on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via the closed circuit television (CCTV) system for criminal activity, theft, and game irregularities. Responsible for monitoring and observing for violation of state gaming regulations, adherence to company policies and procedures, and alignment with internal controls. The Surveillance Monitor videotapes activities as required and reports observations to appropriate company and state officials. Records surveillance activity in daily log and writes reports.
A high school diploma or GED equivalent with 6 months to 1 year of closely related work experience. Knowledge of casino games which may have been obtained by previous dealer or casino experience is preferred. Must learn and understand all games as well as become familiar with all procedures and cheating indicators of the games.
Must be proficient in MS Office applications with ability to perform mathematical and computer functions.
High visual and audio acuity; vision must be 20/20 (corrected). Work environment is enclosed office.
Must qualify for licensing by the Louisiana Gaming Commission.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Grave shift position: 11 PM - 7 AM
