The Valet Attendant is responsible for welcoming and greeting guests in a friendly, upbeat, and positive manner including using the guest’s name when possible and recognizing all VIP guests. You will personalize every interaction by delighting and building great relationships, invite guests back, and share information about property promotions, events, and entertainment.

 

The Valet Attendant arranges for prompt parking and retrieving of vehicles of arriving and departing guests in a safe and friendly manner while opening vehicle doors, assisting guests in stepping out of their vehicles, and helping guests with parcels. You will drive and retrieve patron’s vehicle to and from parking destination in a safe, timely and responsible manner and ensure the safety of the vehicle by inspecting the vehicle and reporting all defects/damages on the Valet Parking Ticket. Handles customer transactions and sales in the Sundries/Gift Shop.

 

The Valet Attendant observes assigned areas for any safety hazards or unauthorized tampering with or pilferage to parked vehicles or facilities, and immediately reports any incidents or conditions in accordance with company procedures.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional customer service skills including the ability to initiate positive interactions with guests and employees
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English
  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of six (6) months experience in customer service field required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid Louisiana driver’s license with good driving record and the ability to operate motor vehicles in a safe manner. Must be able to drive and operate all types of passenger vehicles with automatic or manual transmissions; may be required to operate 8 person golf cart.
  • Knowledge of city and know directions to airport, other casinos, restaurants, etc.
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to lift up to 80 lbs., and work outside with varying temperatures. Ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when maneuvering around work area
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, high noise levels, and bright lights

 

Shifts/Schedule Availability

 

Part Time opportunities are available. Weekends and Holidays are required.

 

Day: 7am-3pm

Swing:3pm-11pm

Grave:11pm-7am
